Until we begin to heal our wounds we are driven by them.
How our individual wounds play out in our life is different for everyone, but we can all be guaranteed that they will have a phenomenal impact on a day to day life, until we start to reach inside our own heart in search of healing.
The language of the heart is feeling based. Those who are sensitive in this area feel their spiritual heart incredibly. The spiritual heart resides in the middle of the chest. For most people the wounding has been so deep that they have become somewhat frozen in this area. They have built up a fortress around this most sensitive place. They allow nothing in and nothing out, and they have festering emotional and spiritual wounds deep inside.
When we first take steps in healing these wounds we can experience a great deal of pain. As we open the fortress we have built around our heart we can find so much emotional baggage. If we keep delving deeper and deeper into the pain we will eventually reach a place inside where we are united with the Unconditional Love of creation. Some call this Love God, some the Divine, please use which ever word that brings you the most peace.
Here we are able to bring in the energy that can heal our wounds from the deepest place. Here we can start to repair rather than just put a plaster over that which is really gushing.
We have the love we have been looking for inside our own heart and it is once we have made contact with this place that our healing journey can really begin.
In my next post I will be sharing my walking heart meditation which I have found to be really potent way of healing my own heart and staying centered.
Meditation is one of the biggest keys we have to reaching our hearts. If we can not quieten down the thoughts in our own internal landscape we will find it difficult to listen to the language of the heart. Although we can learn to speak from the heart the true language of the heart is feeling based not thought based.
